Science / Mathematics Project Competition
Description:
To encourage creativity, innovation, and scientific or mathematical thinking among students
through hands-on projects and real-world problem-solving.
Date: 14th February 2026
Time: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Last Date of Submission: 7th February 2026
Topics
- Science Projects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Applied Science, etc.
- Mathematics Projects: Models, applications, patterns, problem-solving, data analysis, etc.
- Technology / Innovation Projects: Robotics, coding, engineering, IoT, etc.
Eligibility & Participation
- Open to students of Classes 6 to 9.
- Individual or team participation (2 to 3 students per team) is allowed.
Project Requirements
Participants must submit a project report. The project and report should include:
- Projects must be original and created by the participants.
- Working models, charts, and prototypes are acceptable.

Each project must include:
- Title and Objective
- Scientific / Mathematical Principle Used
- Materials and Methods
- Observations and Results
- Conclusion and Real-Life Applications
- Use only eco-friendly and safe materials.
- Dangerous chemicals, flames, or high-voltage devices are strictly prohibited.
Time Allotment
- Setup Time: 10 minutes
- Presentation Time: 5 – 7 minutes per team
- Question & Answer with Judges: 5 – 10 minutes

Drawing Competition
Description:
To encourage creativity, imagination, and artistic expression among students
through drawing on scientific and environmental themes.
Date: 31st January 2026
Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Last Date of Submission:24th January 2026
Eligibility:
- Group A: Classes 1–3
- Group B: Classes 4–6
- Group C: Classes 7–9
Rules and Regulations:
- Time Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours
- Paper Size: A3 sheet (will be provided by the center)
- Participants must bring their own drawing and coloring materials (pencils, crayons, pastels, watercolors, etc.).
- The drawing must be original; tracing or copying will lead to disqualification.
- The participant’s name, class, and school/college name must be written in the labelled area of the sheet.
- The theme should be clearly reflected in the artwork.
- Participants must maintain cleanliness and decorum during the competition.
- Each participant must choose only one theme.
- Participants should reach the venue at least 30 minutes before the start time.

Science Reel Making Competition
Description:
Focused on creating an engaging and informative one-minute science reel on any science topic.
Eligibility
- Group I: Classes 8 to 10
- Group II: Classes 11 to Undergraduate
Last Date of Submission:
Participants must email their reel on or before 15th February 2026 to
cseccompetition@gmail.com.
Submission Guidelines
- The duration of the reel must be approximately one minute.
- The file size of the reel should be below 10 MB.
- The email subject line must be: Reel Making Competition.
- The email must include the participant’s Full Name, Topic, and a brief summary of the reel.
- A clear voiceover explaining the science concept must be included.

Monoact
Description:
Mono-Act is a solo dramatic performance where a participant enacts a situation
or character using dialogue, expressions, and gestures. The time limit is
5 minutes.
Date: 24th January 2026
Time: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Last Date of Submission: 20th January 2026
Rules:
- The act must clearly convey a scientific idea or message.
- One student can perform on only one topic.
- Props and costumes are allowed but should be simple and manageable by the performer.
- Language: English / Hindi / Marathi
- Participants must report 15 minutes before their scheduled performance.
- Participants must finish within the allotted time.
- Use of fire, liquids, or hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.
Group I: Class 4 to Class 6
Topics:
- From a Mosquito’s Point of View: the world from a mosquito’s perspective — its struggles, survival instincts, role in nature, and the consequences of human negligence.
- Waste Has a Voice: waste management, recycling, upcycling, and environmental awareness.
- The Bulb Who Got a Shock: life in the world of electricity, inventions, and human dependence on power.
- A Day Without Trees: the importance of trees and the voice of nature.
- The Seed Who Waited for Rain: patience, climate change, water conservation, and life.
- If the Clock Gets Tired: a clock taking a day off and confusing everyone.
- The Day Vitamins Went on Strike: nutrition, body functions, and healthy eating.
Group II: Class 7 to Class 9
Topics:
- The Rust’s Revenge: corrosion, chemical reactions, and prevention of rusting.
- Plastic – A Monologue: how plastic helped humans but became an environmental threat.
- I Am a Vaccine – My Journey: protection, fear, science, and victory during pandemics.
- The Brain’s Busy Day: managing emotions, decisions, studies, and body functions.
- Mirror on the Wall — What Is Reflection After All?: scientific and emotional reflection.
- The Secret Life of Zero: importance of zero in the number system.
- The Equation of Life: life as variables, constants, and unknowns.

Vidnyan Katha – Story of Science
Description:
To encourage students to understand, imagine, and communicate scientific ideas
through storytelling, monologues, or dramatized narratives.
Date: 7th February 2026
Time: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Word Limit: 400 – 600 words
Last Date of Submission: 31st January 2026
Rules & Regulations
1. Eligibility & Participation
- Open to students of Classes 7 to Undergraduate (in suitable groups such as VII–X and XI–UG).
- Individual participation only; group performances are not allowed.
- Each participant may present one original story based on a given science theme.
- Participants should reach the venue at least 30 minutes before the start time.
- Students must bring their own writing kit; paper for writing will be provided by the center.
