conducted the based on Science shortplay Competition ("विज्ञान धारा विज्ञान एकांकिका स्पर्धा") on 4th-5th and 8th-9th Feb 2025.

The competition was inaugurated on February 4, 2025 by the well-known theater director, dramatist and actor and the founder head of the University's Fine Arts Center, Shri Satish Alekar. The founder and coordinator of CSEC, Professor Dilip Kanhere, presided and coordinator Professor Anjali Kshirsagar was present on the occasion. 55 groups were registered in the competition and presented their performances on the above four days. The school (Indian Jain Association Primary School, Pimpri) which won the first prize at the center got the third prize in the state level competition in Thane.
Other Competitions organized on this occasion were drawing competition, monoact competition, science story writing competition and science reel making competition. Drawing competition was held on 15 February 2025. More than 500 students participated in this drawing competition. Dr. Parag Kalkar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University visited the center to inspire the children. On February 22, 2025, a one-act competition was held. The competition was inaugurated by Dr. Praveen Bhole, Head of the Department, Center for Fine Arts, Savitribai Phule Pune University. The prize distribution ceremony for all the competitions was held on February 28, 2025 at 10 am in the Center. Dr. Medhatai Kulkarni, MP and Professor R. SriAnand, Director, IUCAA, Pune were present as the guests of honour. Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Suresh Gosavi presided over the function. The exhibition organized on the occasion of Science Day was inaugurated by the dignitaries present. At this time the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Parag Kalkar and Officiating Registrar Dr. Jyoti Bhakere were also present. About 1500 students and citizens visited the center on this day. More than 150 students from the colleges affiliated to the university and various science departments of the university worked as volunteers and the visitors enjoyed various activities like simple experiments, science games, magic in chemistry.
