TELLURIUM MODEL
Motion of planets wrt sun is demonstrated
Students can understand the relative motion of planets wrt sun.

TIMING BALL
Measurement of physical quantities
Exp-1 Measurement of Acceleration due to Gravity. Exp-2 Measuring Height of a Person. Exp-3 Measuring acceleration on sloping terrain. Exp-4 Measuring angle of a sloping terrain. Exp-5 Effect of gravity during Projectile Motion. Exp-6 As a Stopwatch. Exp-7 Plotting height vs. time graph under free fall.

SINGING BOWL
Resonant frequency
As the frequency of the rubbing reaches that at which the bowl naturally vibrates and resonance takes place exhibiting lively dance of water droplets as they emit a haunting sound.

WAVE FROM HELIX SLINKY
Metalic helical spring
It is a toy precompressed helical spring. It is used to demonstrate transverse and longitudinal wave.

HYDRAULIC PRESS
IHydraulic press works on Pascal's law, which states that when pressure is applied to a confined fluid, the pressure change occurs throughout the entire fluid.
It has two graduated syringes situated on a metal frame, having different capacities. Both the syringes are connected through a 3 position tap. These syringes may be exposed to atmosphere through this tap, isolated or interconnected as desired. Both the pistons are provided with platforms for loading. This item is used for demonstrating how fluid pressure is transmitted and mechanical advantage can be achieved.

BED OF NAILS
Force is getting distributed equally
While laying on one nail is enough to puncture a person's skin, laying on many distributed nails does not as pressure gets distributed equally.

LIFT THE GLASS
Sunction: difference in air pressure
Once the rubber sheet is placed on the table, it takes lot of efforts to lift the glass from the center whereas it can be lifted from corners. The air pressure below is reduced and outer pressure is more. It is due to suction i.e. difference in air pressure.

U AND V METHOD
To study how to find out the focal length of the given lens.
The experiment gives handon experience of finding out the image and object distance. And by using formula, focal length of the given lens can be determined.

CONVEX - CONCAVE MIRROR
Reflections from plain, convex and concave surfaces
A plastic coated foil is wrapped on a plastic tub with a hole. A tube is inserted in the hole so that we can blow air inside the bowl to make it a convex mirror, and suck out air from it to make it a concave mirror

PLASMA GLOBE
Ionic discharge
The globe i.e. glass bulb is filled with inert gases. If there is high voltage of frequency, the discharge takes place from high to low voltage i.e. from center of the bulb to outside. Once we touch, the spark can be seen. Human body better conductor than surrounding air. Due to small current we do not get shock.

OPTICS KIT
Study of light
Students enjoy the study of light with the help of lenses. The image formation can also be demonstrated.

GYROSCOPE
Conservation of angular moentum
A rotating bicycle wheel has angular momentum, which is a property involving the speed of rotation, the mass of the wheel, and how the mass is distributed.

FIELD DUE TO CIRCULAR COIL
The current carrying coil generates magnetic field
The magnetic field produced due to the current carrying coil is directly proportional to the strength of the current passing through it.

MUTUAL INDUCTION
When an emf is produced in a coil because of the change in current in a coupled coil
It is the simple and effective device to demonstrate Faraday's experiment. It can be used to study mutual induction and transformer principle.

POWER LOSS IN TRANSMISSION
Understanding power loss during tranmission of electricity
A tremendous amount of electricity that power plants generate is wasted by resistance in the transmission wire that carry the electricity, from the plant to our houses. This model gives the live action of the same.

DOMESTIC CIRCUITS
Parallel and series circuits
The parallel circuit connections are preferred in our homes rather than series circuits connections. The present kit will help to understand the advantage of parallel circuit over series circuit in domestic connections.

VARIATION OF RESISTANCE
Ohm's law
The resistance of materials changes with change in temperature, material and the thickness of the wire. This kit helps you to verify the same.

WIMSHURT MACHINE
Wimshurt machine is an electrostatic generator used for generating high voltages.
Two insulating discs and their metal sectors rotate in opposite directions passing the crossed metal bars and their brushes. An imbalance of charges is induced, amplified, and collected by two pairs of metal combs with points placed near the surfaces of each disc. These collectors are mounted on insulating supports and connected to the output terminals. The positive feedback increases the accumulating charges exponentially until the dielectric breakdown voltage of the air is reached and an electric spark jumps across the gap.

FIELD LINES AND EQUIPOTENTIAL LINES
Drawing equipotential lines of electric fields
On this setup equipotential lines of electric fields can be recorded. In this experiment electrodes of different shapes are used to plot the equipontential lines and field lines for parallel plates and dipole. A voltage is applied between a pair of electrodes placed in a plastic trough filled with distilled water and voltage is measured at different points with a needle connected to a multimeter. The points are marked on a graph paper with reference to another graph placed under the trough.
